Dr. Diamond is board certified in gastroenterology, with a special focus on Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease and IBS. She also sees patients for abdominal pain, reflux, unusual changes in bowel habits and difficulty swallowing.

Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy is a procedure performed under anesthesia to directly visualize the colon (and sometimes the bottom of the small bowel), looking for polyps, inflammation, hemorrhoids and other problems. It can help detect and prevent several diseases or conditions, such as colorectal cancer, colon polyps or tumors, or Crohn’s disease.

EGD

An esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) is a procedure performed under anesthesia to directly visualize the esophagus, stomach and top of the small bowel, looking for inflammation, ulcers, bacterial infections and other problems. It can help detect and prevent several diseases or conditions.
